    Has an intimate, personal quality. Rather than showboating for the camera, the soldiers get to a deeper level, conveying a surprisingly reflective and aware sensibility.

    Those looking for a shoot'em-up testosterone fix will be sorely disappointed. Instead, this movie documents the day-to-day experience of the everyman soldier, the irony being that even though no one in the unit dies during the filming, the whole exercise of the occupation nonetheless comes off just as pointless, misguided and ultimately tragic.… Expand

    This film is advertised as "The Falluja Film", but it was filmed almost two years ago and has little to do with the two battles for Falluja--in April and November 2004. Viewer beware. It's pretty tame stuff, but offers some insight into the lives of ordinary US troops.… Expand
