    Looks simultaneously ahead of its time and delightfully quaint, a simple romantic comedy that revels in the dreamy artifice of a meticulously re-created fantasy Las Vegas.

    Francis Ford Coppola has reworked somewhat and meticulously restored his ambitious 1982 romantic musical fantasy One From the Heart, out of circulation for more than 20 years, but for all his efforts it stubbornly remains a bold experiment in style and technique that doesn't work.

    Just because it's different doesn't make it good. In fact, it features some of the worst acting and writing that you can find from a director as respected as Francis Coppola. I can see why it bankrupted its studio.… Expand
