TomFJan 6, 20082I found myself laughing more times than I was feeling scared. Actually I don't think I was ever scared during the movie. Just a really crappy film.

-
LydiaJan 8, 20080The most shocking thing abut this movie is that anyone cared enough to go on with it's no-sense making story. An awful waste of time with cheap scares and bad acting.

-
KentCJan 9, 20085It was decent. A little better than The Grudge, which isn't saying much.

ashlees.Jan 11, 20081This was just about the worst movie i have seen in 2008. It lacked originallity and creativity and bored me to tears. I wasted my money by watching it. It seems they just cannot makes scary movies like they used to... I give this movie two thumbs DOWN!!!!

JTJan 15, 20080UN-suspenseful, not well written, gaping plot holes worthy of only the finest swiss cheese and just generally laughable. I mean, i actually started laughing during some parts of the movie. Not at the lame attempts and some humor in it either, but during what I can only assume was supposed to be the climax.

LucasR.Jan 6, 200810It surprised me, not like that crap of The Grudge 2. Worth watching.

[Anonymous]Jan 11, 20088It's not as bad as people think. Usually I don't get scared at horror movies, but this one really freaked me out. It's suspensful, freaky, and enjoyable. The deaths do mirror final destination, but its worth it to give it a chance.

tomp.Jan 12, 20080this movie in all ways shows that Hollywood is yelling out, "we give up!" if you wanna see a real horror movie, see miike's the audition.

-
JustinSJan 13, 20080Just to sum it up, it's like Final Destination only stupider and with cell phones. If you hated Final Destination and hate cell phones then this movie will damn sure be on your most hated movies list.

-
LesterS.Jan 20, 20080This is like someone remaking Scary Movie and attempting to take it seriously as a horror film.

-
BelaBelaJan 4, 20088It's a pretty freaky movie. Worth watching it.

-
JasonO.Jan 4, 20082If you made a really bad attempt at final destination with cell phones and hard candy. This movie just is horrible not scary at all.

QueenA.Jan 5, 20080I loved Chakushin Ari. This? Don't see this. REALLY, don't.

MikeP.Feb 19, 20086alot better and more interesting than most people give credit for!

PabloR.Mar 22, 20087Ok, stupid people gotta get this straight. The Original Japanese one came out before Final Destination. SO Final Destination copied this! They pretty much butchered the Japanese one, but i gotta give it credit for entertaining me.. and the 2 main Actors being good, Unlike most PG-13 Horror movies when they suck.

AllieB.Jan 23, 20083This movie could have been more than i expected...the only thing in this movie that was keeping me entertained was my friends making fun of it...honestly it kind of reminded me of rip off's of other movies, just flat out a waste, i can't believe everyone was telling me this movie was amazing.

KentW.Mar 19, 20081America just need to stop remaking Asian horror movies. They'll always be full of cancer and fail.
-
-
KenWApr 26, 20086Not bad. At least it kept my interest.
-
-
DevonSApr 27, 20082An awful remake of an awful Japanese Horror film. The only good part about this movie was the Exorcism scene. Quite violent for a PG-13 movie too.

JCJun 11, 200810How do all the great movies get bad reviews. For real the scariest or funniest movies always have bad scores. This movie is great.

10The original movie One Missed Call is based on was pretty tame, at least by Miike standards. And since it appears studios have no intention of halting this flood of abysmal rehashes, allow me to suggest that they at least have the stones not to pussyfoot around and give us a remake worthy of Hollywood, of America, and of an audience that lacks the willpower to stop buying tickets to half-assed crap.
-
38Uninspired and painfully familiar.
-
50The result is yet another tired, ultimately incoherent horror movie that undoes the promise of its pretty good premise and potentially interesting story structure with dull scares, sloppy ending and a pair of unconvincing, leaden lead performances.
