Oct 3, 201010Ok so the the plot is far from amazing but people that is not what these movies are about. This is a martial arts movie and reviewing it as such you cant give it anything less that 10. the combat is simply jaw dropping, especially when u consider that there is no CGI and no wire work. Tony Jaa is a living legend that as it stands due to disagreements over ong bak 3 is now no longer making movies.
-
60Jaa’s period ‘beatquel’ is thick on action but thin on plot. Awesome final fight, though.
-
You are not likely to see a better display of martial arts combat on screen for some time, even if you have to put up with some excruciating contrivances to get to it.
-
80The astonishingly gonzoid fight scenes from Ong Bak 2 might be the best ever filmed.
