    Let me preface my remarks by stating I love Denzel Washington as an actor. I think he is terrific and would go to see a movie if for nothing else than to see him act. Once again, he is wonderful in the role. Having said all this the story writing and directing has more holes than swiss cheese. As the Chief of a small Florida police department he comes across as a complete idiot as a naive trusting simple minded human, not what one would expect from an analytical experienced cop? His wife a detective takes almost the entire movie before she figures things out? As for the acting and directing (spoilers omitted) just watch the scene when his wife opens the bathroom door and motions and sighs before she looks inside? It is laughable. This is an obvious attempt to follow up on Denzel's tremendous role in "Training Day" but it misses terribly.… Expand

    This is basically a story about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Good idea, but severely lacking in character development, emotional intensity, and especially suspense. Even with several twists and unexpected plot points, it nearly fails to even be interesting when it could've been a real thriller.

    Really bad movie. Other than Denzel the acting was third rate. How did they make this? Don't waste your time on this garbage.

    One of the lamest movies I have ever seen. The acting was third rate and should have been released on a little known cable channel so that it would simply disappear. Terrible.

    Denzel make a few more like this one and the Academy will be knocking on your door to take back your Oscar? Completley idiotic from start to finish. No Cop could be this dumb.

    Laughable and downright too stupid to even remotely believe. If not for Denzel, this movie would be a total bust. Cannot believe he accepted this role?
