  • Summary: A story about life, love and the fear of failing. Compressed into an intense 48 hour period leading up to a young artist's first big show, this story of love and self-awareness takes us on an emotional ride, right up to its riveting conclusion. (Matter Productions)

Very unusual that a film focusing on characters this miserable can be so uplifting, but here it is, and it's damn fine.
  2. 60
In the central romantic push-pull, Elster and Harold achieve a rare, edgily hopeful chemistry amid emotional ruins.
  3. It ultimately lacks the singularity to make it stand out among the glut of similarly themed entries.
  4. 38
One of those painfully earnest -- and pretentious -- little indies in which a pair of emotional cripples neatly resolve all of their problems within 48 hours of meeting each other.

I loved this movie. It was great considering it was independent and Jennifer Elster directed, wrote and acted in it! Gale Harold is a great actor also and the portrayal of the characters came across well. The story was depressing but sort of uplifting in a way. Expand
