Candace Against the Universe does everything Phineas and Ferb does and then some. It’s a natural evolution of the show for Disney Plus, relishing in the series’ perfectly timed humor, updating reference points for the fun of it, and adding an emotional layer that resonates
The movie is surprisingly moving in its focus on the character who’s often felt like the show’s biggest drag.

A 90-minute kid- and grown-up-friendly work of cartoon comedy that’s as consistently delightful and clever as the series always was.
Best of all, Candace Against The Universe plays up the heart of the relationship among Candace, Phineas, and Ferb: For all her schemes, the show often revealed that Candace really does love her brothers. But this new movie makes a point to show how much they appreciate her as well.
It’s more of the same, but more of the same has always been what “Phineas and Ferb” does best.
Candace Against the Universe has been made for “Phineas and Ferb” believers, and like such hipster kiddie brand extensions as “Teen Titans Go! To the Movies,” it’s not necessarily more fun than three good episodes of the show stacked together. But that’s fun enough.
Just an absolute beauty of a film, legitimately would've paid 30 bucks to get this early over Mulan which isn't even close to worth it. The only slight issue is some scenes looking a little choppy, but that's over once the second act begins. All the witty writing is back from the series, and so are the songs. OMG THEY ARE SO GOOD! The finale number is one of the best songs to ever come out of the show. This movie is a must see if you have a Disney plus subscription.

This movie is a great representation of the show. It has a good plot and interesting new characters to go with it. I highly recommend this movie to fans of the original show.
