Predators is an exceptional movie, it’s just as good as Predator, and takes the time to respect that great film whilst adding new depth and dimension to the film and modernising it. The soundtrack is incredible and the execution is believable, smart and slick. I’ll never understand all the poor reviews.

Little happens that you don't see coming, down to which cast members will get picked off and in what order. It's a dumb action movie in a summer full of dumb movies, and yet it's always entertaining. And you won't really miss Arnold at all.

Predators is a bit of a pleasant surprise. Its simple, focused premise works perfectly for this type of film and allows for some solid technical execution. However, after a really strong setup it does begin to lose its way around halfway through. Still, Predators delivers enough bloody thrills to make it watchable for both fans of the franchise and of the action/horror genre.

It may not be thematically insightful or contain any truly memorable characters, but "Predators" is, all in all, one of the only respectable additions left to add to the Predator franchise.

Predators is a purely production project that has one goal. And this goal is simple: to profit from a cult franchise. There is no development of lore, no whole plot. All that is in Predators is action, and quite medium quality. The original was released 20 + years earlier and there it is better. The idea with many main characters collapses already at the 10 minute of the film, all the characters are absolutely of the same type, they have motivations, there is no story. It is a pity that such films are released under this name and is also a canon.
