    The acting is just fantastic!! I was so pleased with both the director and cast! Now why can't more movies be like this?

    A refreshing antidote to 'The Hours', this movie was totally convincing, with gentle humor, and made me feel like I gained genuine insights. The characters are charming and believable. The setting in hispanic Los Angeles was realistic and 3-dimensional - a wonderful contrast to the usual negative images.

    Easily one of the best films of this year. A sweet, tender, authentic look at very emotional and complicated issues ... this is what "My Big, Fat Greek Wedding" should have been. Real women are portrayed as beautiful, strong, intelligent, loyal, and passionate. This glimpse at latino life and one young women's dreams of a future outside her family will make you smile and tear. Compassionate film making is rare these days, and this director has an amazing eye for authenticity. The soundtrack is an amazing complement to the film.… Expand

    I absolutely love this movie! The cast is the best I have seen in a movie in a long time. Most of all, I hope everyone understands that a woman is worth more than just her looks. I wish I knew the name of the one song I love in the movie though...

    The movie becomes easily one of your favorite picks when feeling down about yourself. It basically has elements that lift your spirits and gives you hope that life is what you make it, something that many movies today lack. I guarantee the film will make you look at life a diffrent way and give you a push towards taking chances and risks that you've wanted to do in the past.

    It´s a great movie which tell us about ignorance in people... In this case "PUEBLERINAS" going to big city where they go against world and Ana against her own family culture!

    Funny, smart, inspiring movie -- and it's not nearly as after school special-ish as its trailers imply -- a must see for teenage girls and everyone else too!

    It's a joy to see nice warm performances by real people of different shapes, sizes and ages, who are seldom to be found in any glamour catalogues. And it's even more rewarding to watch Ferrera's many-sided performance.
