As I write this review on my smartphone, ironically a device that disconnects me further from myself, Regeneration reminds me of the apathy and disinterest society has towards change. Not only is this film exceptional, moving and inspiring, foremost it is timely in an era where change isn't just an option but a requirement. It provides context excerpts of correlation that are unseen in the plethora of docs on this subject matter. A must watch for those who are even remotely concerned about the state of our detached society. Collapse

While 'ReGeneration' sure has the captivating energy to get people riled up, it sure is unfocused. It's kind of like an activist film about activism, advising others to be more active in affecting their environment. The target of this documentary is more on the overall attitude of our era, one that is portrayed as apathetic and uncaring. The overall scope of the movie tries to cover way too much ground and varies, discussing all sorts of themes that are linked to our apathetic behavior, for instance, materialism, but few real-life examples are really given to support all of this disdain for our current attitude in America. It can be seen that this is very passionately made and all of the talk really does get you riled up (if in a kind of vagabond sense), but a more riveting and focused movie is needed to address the problems brought up here. Phillip Montgomery's film is ironically as undeveloped and busy as the sensational media it criticizes.
