The fragmented and existential atmosphere, reminiscent of a Paul Auster novel, is an interesting reward for sticking with the tale.
Reset strings together a series of hit-and-miss ideas that never deliver an “aha!” payoff.
Ruinously prioritising chic over content, this is intellectually and stylistically shallow when it should have been dynamic and compelling.
An unpleasant exercise in self-indulgence
At least Bojack had the decency to bring this turgid, self-indulgent doodle in at a slim 79 minutes.
