Dec 31, 20116Role Models sadly does fall for the cliche that little kids saying swear words is still funny, but still Paul Rudd, Sean William Scott and Jane Lynch give very impressive performances which is too much to resist. I give this movie 64%.

BenNov 14, 20089After seeing a 59 on metacritic I assumed I would be watching a so so comedy with some familiar actors. This movie was FAR better than the 59 it received. It was easily one of the best movies of the summer, and by far the best comedy. You will not be disappointed.

BobMMar 10, 20099Hilarious! Role Models is the best comedy since American Pie!

-
FantasyNov 10, 20085Lighthearted comedy that really is a fluff piece without much substance. Some funny spots but otherwise relies too much on sexual inuendo. Not much to think about as it appeals to all those who want to check their brains in at the door. Good for a rainy afternoon.

[Anonymous]Nov 8, 20089Great movie. Funny comedy. But better overall movie. Perfect casting creates believable characters.

-
DonSJan 12, 20099Unless you are offended by words this is a very funny movie. Better than the majority of raunchy comedy movies of the day. The only knock is the sub-par ending.

-
ChazHayJan 12, 20098Loved it. It's a hell of a lot of fun and the characters are great.
-
-
KevinMJan 29, 20098Don't get me wrong, I really liked this movie and thought it was hillarious, but I felt like the film itself had more to tell about what it means to grow up.

-
NickWMar 14, 200910Hilarious movie. Whoever wrote the script is godlike, because it's not written like a movie, it's written like real life human beings would have conversations. Just see it, you will be pleasantly surprised.

RichardO.Nov 10, 200810Really good movie. Better than expected. This is Christopher Mintz Plasse's coming out party.
-
-
BillyS.Nov 24, 20086Typical movie-for-the-masses with Jane Lynch stealing the entire movie with every scene she's in. Is Christopher Guest the only director in Hollywood that knows that?

JackR.Nov 7, 200810Awsome movie. Very funny and very touching at time. Damaged people finding out the joy in life following thier bliss.
-
-
BenjaminD.Dec 4, 20088Role Models was a really engaging and fun film. Mintz-Plasse was good, Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott were really warm and the kid he was hilarious. I love the "Boobie" lessons. And the LARP scenes were pretty smart.

-
RevaGDec 8, 20089The kids were hilarious. I thought this was really funny.

HenryFilmsJan 31, 20098Wow! After a dull beginning to the movie, Role Models really turned out to be a great movie in the end, Personally, I think that this movie is worth seeing when you want to see a movie with a couple of friends, and all of you like comedies. 8/10 for Role Models.

LauraSFeb 28, 200910Hilarious movie with total rewatchability. Perfectly cast.

AminK.Mar 29, 20099This movie will give you some good emotions, believe me.

-
JayHMar 4, 20096The actors are the plus for this film, they do a great job. The characters are likable and well developed. The story lacks originality and it is predictable though. Fun but not very memorable
-
-
RyanM.Aug 15, 20098Surprisingly funny and at times heartwarming. Nothing that will be groundbreaking or a classic, but some good laugh out loud moments. Rudd is endearing and entertaining as well.

-
ChrisSNov 26, 20086This movie is funny, really dies off towards the end though.

FrankG.Nov 7, 200810It's a lighthearted comedy that could have gotten away with PG-13 if the cursing and nudity had been cut down a lot. However, the language is totally necessary at points and will leave you laughing even at a serious point in the movie. Other than that it is a lighthearted comedy with a few surprising morals and an over feel-good attitude once you leave.

NormanW.Nov 9, 200810Even though we share the same last name I've been critical of his work in the past. This time David Wain nails it! Just the right mix of romp, raunchy and ridiculous to give you a great night at the movies.

AronJ.Dec 1, 200810In my opinion, this movie is the best original comedy ive seen in a while. Its actually really funny and the acting is great. It was directed well and plasse was hilarious, as well as paul rudd and seann. Yes its raunchy, but its funny and very original. Perfect in my opinion.

PaulL.Dec 4, 20088I ended up seeing this one twice (circumstantial) and watching it a second time, it was still a funny and enjoyable movie. Sean William Scott plays the same character as I've seen him in every other movie and he's still doing a good job. I would definitely recommend this movie and I'm sad that it didn't receive higher ratings by critics.

-
ColinH.Dec 7, 200810David Wain, coupled with a hilarious cast, produces an amazing work of art. The writing is amazingly well done- witty remarks are scattered throughout the film. It does use sexual humor and contains nudity, so I wouldn't recommend seeing it with a parent. A must see.

RizwanAJan 18, 20090This movie was not funny period!

-
OmarG.Mar 13, 20098A movie that started out bland quickly turned into something else. The movie's cast is great to contribute to its simple, yet hilarious comedy. Although, predictable, it is worth the watch.
-
-
SimonB.May 17, 20099Ridiculously funny! Casting is perfect and the banter between the main characters is classic.
-
-
JohnnyG.Nov 12, 200810I haven't laughed that hard since 40 year old Virgin and Old School.
-
-
JeremyB.Nov 28, 20088Finally, a decent Sean William Scott movie (maybe it's because of Paul Rudd)
-
-
MrC.Nov 29, 20088Funniest movie I've seen in a long time. Although I think it is a comedy most appreciated by men 36-50 yrs old. Paul Rudd really has that character down pat. Wheeler's "little" had some of the best lines.

-
Nov 27, 20116It was ok. A little sad at times (when you relize just how pathetic the younger kids are) and the acting was alright. However it just doesnt really hit as good as it could have.
-
Jul 1, 201110I was ROFL for the entire length of the movie ! And I am 45 years old...not really sure what that says about me. Great cast, great script...bulls's eye !
-
Mar 10, 20119This is one of the funniest movies i've ever seen, the main characters all compliment each other nicely, my only complaint is that I'm not cool seeing a kid who looks about 10 years old cuss every sentence, but still a hilarious movie.
-
Jan 25, 20116Some chuckles are guaranteed, but as with most new comedies it isn't about the jokes as much as it is about the crudeness and vulgarity. Role Models had the perfect set up for a great comedy and at times worked really well, but instead of running with it the director reverted to classless adolescent jokes and language which really hampered to movie rather than help it.
-
Nov 8, 20118This movie is an hilarious raunchy comedy. Sure it has a cliche story line, but like I Love You Man, if you have the right actors/actresses you can strike comedic gold.
-
Nov 23, 20119Hilarious movie. Paul Rudd never disappoints. And the two performances by the littles are hilarious as well as a ridiculously funny small role from Jane Lynch. Definitely recommend this one.
-
Oct 4, 20118I really like this movie, it has a pretty good story and a hilarious script. At the beggining i sucked a dick...................................................................................................................................................................................................
-
Dec 2, 20118It is actually pretty funny. The acting was unexpectedly great. There are not a lot of reasons to not see this intensely humorous comedy with great performances.
-
Jan 16, 20125It was ok. A rather generic comedy if you ask me. Paul Rudd, Sean William Scott, and Jane Lynch give good performances in this and that is what really carries the film. Funny at times and corny at others.
-
Feb 11, 20127Basically anything Sean William Scott is in will be hilarious. And when you add Paul Rudd and McLovin and the little kid Ronnie, you've got a funny movie.

Rudd and Scott hail from different universes of movie comedy, but manage together here just fine, particularly since each takes a different path.
-
70Laden with more than enough profane humor to warrant its R rating, this is nonetheless a formulaic crowd-pleaser.
-
Wain, Marino, and Rudd pull it off because theirs is a funnier, brainier, bawdier brand of feel-good.
