  3. How do you know you're looking at a pretty good piece of filmmaking? When the director and actors can make you care about the central characters even though they exchange almost no dialogue.

    This is a magnificent movie all around. The scarce dialogue, cinematography but specially the 2 young leads are ... inspiring, breathtaking,This is a magnificent movie all around. There is a moment, a single instant that spoke to me when in a car's tape recorder Rocio Durcal is playing Juan Gabriel (Spanish diva + Mexican divo)... the awkward perfection of this sound insert is, for me, the perfect metaphor of the surprising stuff this movie is made of Full Review »

    Clásicos les llaman a las películas cuyo mensaje trasciende su tiempo y su entorno y esta películaClásicos les llaman a las películas cuyo mensaje trasciende su tiempo y su entorno y esta película logra transmitirlo así seas en Australia o seas de México. AL estar viendo el filme pensaba que cualquier escena podría confundirse con un filme hecho en México de no ser por los pocos diálogos en inglés y en idioma aborigen. Impactante.
