  • Summary: Satyagraha is the story of a son who yearns for a father. Of a father, who grieves for his lost son. Of a young woman who fights so hard with life that she has forgotten to love. Of an ambitious rabble-rouser, for whom action is the knee-jerk mantra. It is the story of how these four discover one another, and come together to raise hell, shaking the powers that be to their very roots! But, Satyagraha is also the story of an influential power-hungry despot who will stop at nothing to destroy them. Expand

It hits its themes too squarely on the nose and hits them for about an hour too long.

Satyagraha is the most fail in Bollywood's long running political movie system. The story and direction fails to succeed when the film streches for too long. Amitabh does good in the drama but all the other actors act like crap. Kareena is too devastating, Ajay's character is too complicated, Amrita is toooo sad and Arjun Rampal is a pain in the butt kid. Yolo Time fans. The film centres around 5000000000 stories when Prakash Jha doesn't introduce the film fact by fact. His movies like- Aakrakshan and Chakravyuh were gems but then Satyagraha sucks. Real Bad. This score on Metacritic is given by ten, 1 for me- BigB rocks. I strongly advise you to not watch this piece of s**t. It's a waste of time and money, I got busted but don't get yourself cringed. STAY AWAY PEEPS. Expand
