    Director Lee Chang-dong could well have cut 30 minutes out of the story, but Jeon's performance is powerful enough to keep Secret Sunshine from drowning in an ocean of tears.

    I don't know where to appreciate the director's talent, whether when the innocuous move is hindered by a deadly twist and avert the audience expectations from mundane matters OR when Jeon Do-yeon's trust towards faith gone topsy-turvy but I m sure, Secret Sunshine is a movie strictly for an observant. When you are a person of that kind, this movie will captivate you and made you speechless.… Full Review »
