PiperB.Apr 9, 200410I loved this movie. The plot was great, and the suspense was unbelievable. Johnny Depp and Turturro played their characters very well. Though the ending wasn't anything new, it was certainly exciting, spine-tingling, and it was acted out perfectly. I give SECRET WINDOW two thumbs up!

KelseyR.Jun 3, 200410I luv this movie so much! Johnny Depp is as hot as-- if not hotter than --always! He kept the end suspenseful to me. This movie kept me laughing through the end. It is the best movie since Pirates! I don't know what else to say except, this movie ROCKS!

KelseyC.Sep 5, 200410This movie is the best movie since Radio. Johnny Depp had an outstanding preformence. I loved every second of it. Every time you sit down to watch it, it gets better and better. It will keep you guessing until the end....and you will still be wrong...

ChristianH.Apr 10, 20048I quite enjoyed the film. It was an entertaining enough waste of time, much like Conan's Frankenstein. Worth the price of admission just for Depp's as always brilliant performance. The man can make the most trivial and boring of activities exciting. I would watch him read the back of a cereal box. Go see it.

RayAug 1, 20040I got sucked into watching this movie because of all the "plot twists and suspense" even though the trailers looked like a lame movie from the get go. This "twist" while I won't give it away has been DONE and DONE before! Also note the next time you take a dump, you will be in violation of copyrights for this movie.

MikeH.Sep 9, 20042Another Rod Serling Copy cat type plot. Rod Serling was the master! Many writers want to be a Twilight Zone creator! Not very original.

DanC.Feb 20, 20055Not very satisfying. Johnny Depp is good in the lead role, but the whole enterprise seemed flat to me. Turturro was effectively menacing, but I didn't think the director maintained the tension. The ending seemed anti-climactic to say the least.

JamesJul 18, 20060This movie sucks! It wasn't scary, the acting was bad, and it was a crap storyline!

JayH.Jan 4, 20096The film starts out great, but as it progresses it loses steam. It becomes predictable and I found the ending a let down. Still, it has it's moments and Johnny Depp is great as always.

JoshH.Mar 12, 20043If you like Johnny Depp, you'll like this film. However, if you have any aversion to him whatsoever, skip this film. It's the same old same old Depp, with his oh so artsy, weird, and just plain odd style of acting that makes me want to vomit. The only saving grace of this adapted Stephen King short is the drop dead hilariously bad southern accent sported by John Turturro.

LarryS.Mar 14, 20048Well worth seeing for Depp's performance alone. Most of the movie is VERY well done. Suspenseful, scenes well set up, good direction, some good charcter actores. Unfortunately the ending does not do justice to the bulk of the movie, but still a movie that's very entertaining. Go see it!

RobbinM.Mar 14, 20048Depp was very good. Movie was slow somewhat in beginning but picked up. Predictable though.

KenG.Mar 24, 20046A minor novella by Stephen King adapted into an even more minor screenplay, Secret Window is worth the price of admission for Johnny Depp's mesmerizing performance as a writer slowly (and literally) falling apart at the seams.

JohnDoeMay 17, 200410I thought it was quite decent. I mean, the actors were great, the plot was quite something with the twist, but the unveiling of the whole plot was kind of lame.

MollyO.Jun 13, 20049I really enjoyed this film because of its ability to keep the audience on the edge. Every person in the theatre was captured into the story, and rightly so. This was a joy to watch.

MichaelB.Jul 1, 20045Do we really need another split-personality movie? The most confusing part about this one is why they chose a forgettable piece from one of Stephen King's short-story collections, as opposed to one of his more memorable pieces. It's just under 2 hours of boredom, so, stay away if you can.

SaerA.Jul 12, 20047Depp's performance was outstanding. What I like about this movie is there are unexpected jump scenes... I really love to jump up in scary movies. This movie is bone chilling fun!

ChuckM.Jul 7, 20049I loved this movie! There were a couple of clunky moments but the performances were great and the ending was perfect. I put off renting this one for a while but it was definitely worth the wait. Special kudos for not watering down the climax with some dim-witted happy ending.

HarrisonB.Aug 8, 20049Secret Window is Johnny Depp's best movie since Pirates of the Carribean. A great and scary thriller. Johnny Depp's performance is unbelievable. The twist at the end kept me guessing for too long! Very good movie.

KelseaB.Mar 16, 20045This movie was fair, nothing great, nothing terribly wrong. It was just another johnny depp-doing-really-good-story-ok type thing. See the movie for a couple of suspensful moments.

-
JoshL.Mar 16, 20048I found this to be a well-casted very much enjoyable suspense thriller with a great twist at the end. the directing was brilliant, and if you go looking for a rare quality Stephan King-based movie, this is up there with the shining.

RomyE.Mar 18, 20041The #1 rating is for Johny, the movie was a complete waste of time. I kept waiting from something remotely interesting to happend...I guess he did this one for the money, can't blame the guy.

-
TrinimanMar 19, 20042This is Johnny Depp doing Golum and the Green Goblin, if you know what I mean. You?ve seen this all before. I won't make references to any more films otherwise that will totally give it away. For a real kick-ass film, go see Spartan! Winnipegger Len Cariou shows up as the Sheriff and does his best Andy Griffith. Avoid at all costs!

-
BilliR.Mar 21, 200410Awesome movie...I can't get over the psychological suspense. Depp and Turturro were amazing.
-
-
JasonMar 22, 20046The movie had an okay plot but in my opinion johnny depp doesnt play this character very well...john tuturro has an excelent role as the spookishly freaky guy but i think depp's performance couldve been better.

-
AndrewL.Mar 25, 20045Yet another mediocre movie from a Stephen King novella. Maybe they should go back to the Cat's Eye formula and make several smaller movie-ettes into one movie. Johnny Depp totally carried this movie with another stellar performance. This movie was totally average. You could do worse.

-
RosaB.Apr 28, 20049Love it! exciting! my friends and i were startled but that's what makes it great! Can't wait to see it again! Johnny was great, as always!

May 11, 20127Although the film starts out with a fairly simple and seemingly innocent premise, Secret Window is no doubt one of the most twisting and chilling Stephen King stories ever brought to screen.

40Secret Window is almost worth seeing for his characteristically assured performance alone, but Koepp sabotages Depp and his surroundings with an ending so atrocious, it callously betrays everything that came before it.
-
58Doesn't keep any secrets but an open one: that Johnny Depp is on a roll, and actor's block is definitely not his problem.
-
70The resourceful actor (Depp) invigorates Secret Window with a playful personality and wryly humorous aplomb not front-and-center in the script, making the psycho-suspenser more compelling than it might otherwise have been.
