This film was amazing. Even though it was low budget, the plot is a grabber. I did not want to walk away ever. The acting extrodinary and the actors fit the parts. It allows you to see the other side. I recomend it to everyone not weak of stomach.

An impressive movie limited by budget constraints. Though the film could use some work, and was a bit predictable in its progressive descent, it still maintained a certain uniqueness which is often lost in modern film. It is a movie which is unafraid to break out of the cookie cutter mold and attempt to be truly dark, a movie which is highly successful in portraying a truly Satanic devil figure, and a movie which ultimately fails to live up to its potential but yet provides us with some interesting insights. Its not a movie everyone would enjoy, but it is a movie worth viewing. Expand

It is definitely not the movie you would recommend. But why? Simply because it shows what is deep inside us. Hate, sex, drug, love. That we hate the world we're living in? That we try to make sense of nothing? The film has no real end. But does mankind have an end?

Without any momentum and lacking both depth and interesting characters, Shadow Hours makes sin seem pretty damn boring.
  2. A cheaply voyeuristic story whose "twist" is hardly worth the wait.
  3. Cynical to an extreme, it doesn't illustrate its points but blasts them at us -- in italics, boldface and capital letters.
