Imaginatively acted, endlessly atmospheric.
The cryptic finale raises more questions than it solves. But She's One of Us is such a fine work that answers aren't necessary.
Alnoy's unnerving mood piece is spare and atmospheric, even funny. The movie is accomplished, but gets hung up on arty composition.
Alnoy's narrative is better suited to a trashy thriller than a vehicle for weighty political themes.
Handsome but empty film.
For all the smart visual design, though, She's One Of Us is frustratingly clinical.
Quickly nose-dives into the ridiculous.
