  • Starring: Amanda Bynes, Channing Tatum, Laura Ramsey
  • Summary: It's hard enough being the nerdy new guy on campus without also being the new girl on campus, who has fallen for the coolest guy on campus, who is totally obsessed with the most beautiful girl on campus, who is "crushing" on the nerdy new guy on campus. That's just the beginning in this contemporary comedy inspired by Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night." (DreamWorks) Expand

Of Amanda Bynes let us say that she is sunny and plucky and somehow finds a way to play her impossible role without clearing her throat more than six or eight times.
  2. A cross-dressing comedy that's all dressing can only, well, leave you cross.

The girls who adore the likable Everygirl Bynes will find a lot to enjoy about the film, especially the boys who look as though they just were lounging around the Abercrombie & Fitch catalog.

The surefire laugh-getter centers on using a tampon to stop a nosebleed. Watching this movie, I had to hope it could stop brain-drain.

  1. A wonderful and awesome film! Brings great passion towards the sport, with secrets, relationships, and of course some fun laughs. Enjoyable characters and a well directed movie and ending. Expand

There are three movies that I have seen this year that I would recommend to my friends and family as being entertaining and well-executed cinema: Thank You For Smoking, Brick and She's The Man. Anyway, who says this movie sucks is taking themselves too seriously. Expand

Hello, people Don´t be so crabby. This is supposed to be a joke, and it´s funny like this. Amanda is a promise, Channing is...wow!

A high-concept movie like this should be more high-concept. Aside from the premise (Which isn't believable for a second) nothing really seems to happen except a love triangle. It just never really takes off and it doesn't help that all the funny jokes (which, to be fair, are somewhat plentiful) are given away completely on the trailers and commercials. Not recommended. Just not that great of a movie. Expand
