    Less compelling than all the behind-the-scenes Sturm und Drang. Even Baldwin, who waived his directing credit in favor of the pseudonymous Harry Kirkpatrick, has warned fans to stay away.

    As much as we like Alec as an actor, it's hard to imagine that any amount of editing and reshooting under his supervision could salvage his complete ineptitude as a director.

    I really liked this movie. It had many very funny lines and was the old-fashioned comedy/drama style. I even liked Alec Baldwin's I really liked this movie. It had many very funny lines and was the old-fashioned comedy/drama style. I even liked Alec Baldwin's character in this movie. But Dan Aykroyd and Anthony Hopkins stole the show...Dan for his genius at light comedy, and Anthony Hopkins was just great period, especially in the courtroom sequence. They are what makes this movie worthwhile. Collapse
