There are no boring, expository sequences; no depressing, grown-up politics. Instead, Rodriguez gifts us with a kaleidoscope of energy and invention.

Filled with video-game in-jokes, Spy Kids 3 comes roaring to life in action scenes based on different gaming genres, each of which takes full advantage of the 3-D effects.

Amid the razzle-dazzle, Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over is sweetly inspiring.
  4. 60
Some viewers will miss the warmth and boisterous family dynamics of its predecessors.
  5. 60
    An enjoyable, noisy romp.
  6. Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, is still offbeat, but more in the sense of unco-ordinated than syncopated.
  7. 38
Combined with the eyestrain produced by the cheap cardboard 3-D glasses, the resulting vertigo is decidedly unpleasant -- although having moon rocks and blobs of cream pie flying out from the screen is kinda cool in a retro way.

Spy Kids: Game Over 3D is well filmed and acted, with its corny humour added as a joke. Sly Stallone is our Rambo but not a comedian! He wasn't funny and was added for FUN. Rodriguez has also added excellent 3D popcorn magic that will boost the sales for this film. It was really good corny fun that satisfies. Must watch with flaws. Expand

The movie wasn't funny or gripping. But I don't hate the movie which is why I'm gonna give the film a 4.

Yeah, there were some good action sequences and all, but mostly, this movie was uneventful and, maybe between you and me, slightly boring.
