Hahaha my friends and i LOVED this movie!! It's definitely a stupid funny/stoner movie but god damn is it hilarious!

This movie was soooo funny! I recommend going a little inebriated, makes the whole thing that much better. Seems like they made it for me when I am either high or drunk (in this case both). Go see this movie!

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. People need to grow up, and stop taking themselves so seriously. This movie is not meant to be a cinematic masterpiece. The comedy is in the absurdity of every situation.

For those of you who say you have to be stoned or drunk to watch this movie, you need to stop generalizing those who disagree with you. I am a non-drinker/smoker and I found this movie to be absolutely hilarious. I have never watched a movie that I couldn't even bear to sit through, but this was it. I like Happy Madison movies....but this was RETARDED. It made me want to shoot myself in the face.

I was the only one in the theatre and rate it equal to the Pepto Bismol commercials for sheer actor humiliation. I am proud to say I did last the entire movie, which I attribute to tremendous control over my gag reflex. The "golden topping" on my popcorn was more authentic.

This has to be the worst movie of the year. Everything looks so fake and why is it soooo funny for the multiple scenes focusing on exposed mens privates. If you are looking for nudity, other than 5 seconds of a woman, the man scenes dominate. You have to be stoned to be entertained by this trash. Strange Wilderness deserves that...a spot in the can.

This movie is awful. It is not funny, but instead, a total waste of time. Although the concept had the potential for a hilarious comedy, the end result was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It's that simple.

Quite simply the worst and unfunniest "comedy" I have ever seen. Inept writing, directing, and acting. You sit and marvel at the fact this somehow got financial backing and the commitment of people such as Zahn and Hill. Completely tasteless and to call it sophomoric or juvenile would be an insult to 13- to 16-year-olds because I can't imagine they think this is funny, either.

This movie will be the funniest thing since Platoon.

The guy that was in Superbad thats in this movie did horrible his acting was so bad, the character he had in superbad was the one i thought he was going to keep, instead he had this voice in strange wilderness that screamed to much acting he was trying so hard, the movie was horrible total waste of time

Look if you liked without a paddle and the longest yard(which i did) you will love this flick. It is one of those movies like anchorman that is loved because its a different style. This movie is definetley a different style. If you are a serious moviegoer who picks movies apart you wont like it, but its good for the casual moviegoer.

I don't know what is up with all the snobby critics these days, seeing Strange Wilderness was almost equivalent to viewing the birth of your first child...pure ecstasy. The funniest part was when he was WEARIN A THONG!!!!!

I can say with total confidence that the only people who would enjoy this movie are the ones whose lives consist of smoking pot, drinking beer, smoking pot, peeing on people's couches, and smoking pot. Sandler's Happy Madison reaches a new low. My favorite movie of all time is Animal House. My favorite comedy this past year was Superbad. I loved National Security. So I was looking forward to Strange Wilderness. We left the theater with 10 minutes of the film remaining. I do not think I have ever seen as stupid a film as this "effort". It is shocking to me that this disaster... and it is a disaster for Happy Madison and the actors associated with it.. ever made it past the editing room. I enjoy a good dirty joke as much as the next guy. But this was not a comedy...it was in fact a tragedy!… Expand

This movie is certainly not one of Sandler's best, but I do believe it was worth the price of admission. It had simple predictable jokes throughout with several big laugh moments thrown in to keep the audience watching. These days, most of the good jokes have been done already so writers are having to take anything they can get. The cast certainly made up for this by great acting that really fit with the film. The acting may have not seemed great, but it really did relate well with the film, so I believe it was a job well done.… Expand

This movie was horrible. One of those i simply couldn't make through without judging myself for how by-the-minute it was planned. They should have paid me to watch it.

Yeah... what these guys said- its DUMB. Definitely wondering who would back it myself- would have given it a one cuz I didnt walk out but I was considering it... The MAC guy wasnt funny at all and the kid from Superbad was its only saving grace- while he wasnt exactly funny, he was the only fun part of the entire deal.

Funniest parts used in trailer, so boring in movie. plot so broken down even for a "stoner" comedy. even my intoxicated friends had trouble letting out a giggle after this horrible movie, comedy, and use of 2 hours.

If you love Grandma's Boy you'll love this movie. Not in the ranks with the greatest comedy of all time Happy Gilmore, but still a must see.

I am shocked to see that this movie got such a low rating. I have not laughed so hard from a movie in years. It's a comedy, it's gonna be stupid and slapstick and not have much of a story, and be vulgar. But it was absolutely hilarious. It had me in tears at least 10 times and never had a dull moment. If you liked grandmas boy or anchor man, you should love this movie. But if you're the kind of person who knocks a comedy for being stupid or vulgar, you need to take a step of your pedestal and realize that animal attacks and stupid voice overs can be funny. I mean i love these movies, comedies are the best but this one was really bad, i have a high tolerance for stupid shit but the went to far, i have seen most of these actors in other movies and they have done ok but i don´t what happened to them.

I saw this movie for free and I'd still demand my money back. Possibly one of the worst films ever made.

I think what you have to remember is that this movie was so retarded that it was strangely amusing to watch, it wasn't worth the 12.50 i paid for it, but what the hell, it was a good waste of time.

The thing you have to remember about this movie, is that it was so stupid it was funny.

I'd be lying if I claimed I didn't like some parts of this movie. There were three or four moments in this movie that really delivered the laughs, I still find them hilarious. The overall movie is too stupid for its own good and ends up leaving you wondering if based off its poor dialogue and meaningless plot, if you are just as capable of writing something so bad.

If they really meant that the ratings steeply decline, I'm afraid that is what happens here. But I don't think that one animal can truly turn the show around now, because with a script that has no life to it. Inane and not very funny comedy. There are a few funny moments, but hardly often enough. Crude and in poor taste.

This movie is allrite, not as bad as ppl on here say, but still not good enough to recommend. one thing i will say is that the few funny scenes in this movie are absolutely hilarious. but it just drags on and is just so stupid. with such a great cast in the movie ud expect better. see grandma's boy instead of this.

I don't know what was Happy Madison thinking, this movie sucks, but still hilarious. It's like the typical crap like Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Vampires Suck, etc. You may hate it but you will laugh of some old jokes and stupid situations. Don't bother wasting your time on this one it's not really funny. There are some chuckle worthy moments scattered throughout, but for the most part its humor is either too stupid or too vulgar to garner a laugh. And when it's not vulgar or stupid it's offensive and disgusting. They try to make a joke out of a man who was just cut in half, show us a mans deformed genitals, and throw so many gay and dick jokes at us that all I did throughout this movie was groan at how painfully boring this movie can be. I think its ridiculous people thought The Hangover was funny but people thought this movie was stupid. This movie had a mix of sexual and dumb humor which personally I think is what makes up this movie, as well as the Hangover. For instance, "If these fishes ate Dick, and we're eating the fishes... Doesn't that mean we're eating Dick?" That's hilarious! Very well done by the cast and crew.

This movie didnt have the best plot but with a great cast of characters, I believe the movie was a pass. There were funny moments and crude jokes that most other movies wouldnt go near. B+.
