I laughed exactly once during this movie. The Farrelly Brothers have done so much better. Can they maybe make a movie now without handicapped people? it would be a welcome change. I am a huge fan of Kingpin and "...Mary". it was a big letdown.

Non PC? Too bad if you see a movie that has people living in a different situation than you, it's not PC. If anything, it showed that people in different situations can still live fufilling and fruitful lives. I think you completely missed the point of this movie. I too was expecting to laugh hard, especially after being told that people were saying this was the funniest farrelly bros film since D&D, which it certainly is not. This movie is pretty funny, but there were only a few real laugh out loud parts. It was really just about conjoined twins living life. The purpose of the movie isn't to laugh at two people connected by the liver...it's to show the conditions that some people live in I'd think. It's more about companionship and brotherhood than it is funny. It's not a bad movie, it's slow in parts...in several parts...but it's not like I walked out unhappy. It's a nice film, entertaining, but if you have to pick this one over another one...go see the other one. Expand

Incredibly funny i mean these are the only people that will make fun of siamese twins and have it be funny not mean.

Not what one would expect from the past efforts of the Farrelly brothers. Very sensitive to handicap people in that it presents that despite the difference in appearences, inwardly they feel the same as we do. About five minutes after the credits have rolled, Rocket, a handicapped man in the movie and in real life appears on the screen and gives an impassionate speech that will move you to tears. Most people who saw this flick are not even aware of this fact. Stay in your seats at the movies end. As for the movie itself the subject matter makes the viewer a bit uncomfortable, but all the ingredients for a romantic comedy are there. Worth the watch, especially Rocket's from the heart, not a script, rendition. Expand

It's hard to imagine what's like to have the most remarkable and recognizable living legendary female pop culture icon who has made her name for herself and took the whole entire entertainment business industry by storm . With her extraordinary fabulous well known talented and gifted inspired artist that she is today , you have to wonder these days why is it fans just can't get enough of this woman named " Cher " all of a sudden ? Regardless on how many albums or making different varites in such " Hollywood Blockbuster " movies as an Oscar winning actress or maybe perhaps breaking her all time record of selling out tons of concert tours world wide however , I think Cher has gone to being from a very shy girl during in the late 60's and then all of a sudden being so fabulous what so ever and it doesn't really matter about her age limit is concerned but all there is right now Cher has achieved more success than any other female artists there is and she really deserves to be respected not being as a singer or actress or even yet producer or better than a director herself but a survivor who has done it all by herself without anyone else tell her what to do . Also I have already seen her latest movie and I have to say even though she has the guts to do whatever the hell she does in this planet that we live in regardless of being called a female comedian that she is wheither if it's on television or movies is concerned , I think Cher has what it takes to make this movie got it going on know what I'm sayin' no doubt and if ya'll haven't seen what she does during her recent past life man ya'll are missing out no doubt ! Cher has still got it babe ! Expand

Hilarious movie! Farrelly Bros have finally released a movie to surpass Dumb & Dumber. If you haven't seen this movie, do it now. I've never seen such original comedic tones since One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest! Way to go F Bros.

This movie was as funny, if not funnier than Dumb n Dumber in the 90's. I thought it was better because it was more mature and had cleaner (less disgusting) humor and clever ideas.

An almost unbearably sad film, because these twins actually believe their lives are good and fufilled, and that have a place in normal society.

"Stuck on You" wasn't a laugh-out-loud funny movie, but then again, I don't think it was meant to be. Instead, it was a touching story about two brothers who live a fulfilling life as conjoined twins, but realize they need to be seperated to live their dreams. Sure, the characters make some dumb, cliched decisions, but it's more interesting in this case because of the situation. The acting was actually much better than I expected in that the two main characters actually showed a pretty wide range of emotions. By the way, don't get the impression that there are no good jokes, because there are many. It just isn't drop dead hillarious. "Stuck on You" is not a great movie, but it's definitely worth renting. I was amazed this was made into a movie. The non-PC of it all was a real drag. Maybe there's something i didn't get [1st time i saw AIRPLANE i didn't like it. But, my girlfriend and I broke up the same day]. No such crisis this time. I was ready to laugh @ the whole movie, but only did a couple of times. First time in a long time I wanted to leave, but it was a sneak preview, and i got a ride to the movie, had to wait for the ride to leave. Expand

There needs to be a new evaluation of movies in Hollywood. This fantastic movie has been branded with the label of "Comedy", which unfortunately seems to make alot of people in the industry walk in daring the film to make them laugh. This film isn't hilarious. It doesn't make you cry laughing. It isn't SUPPOSED to. What is IS, is FUN. the whole thing is grandly, consistently amusing, and I had more fun watching this movie than I have in a whole year's worth of mawkish slapstick comedies, which tried so hard to milk laughs out of characters' misfortunes that they actually wound up being somewhat depressing. Re-evaluate how you look at entertainment. Unless you're an indie movie buff who will only approve of an outlook that is bleak and despondent, you generally go to a movie to *enjoy* yourself. and that's just what this is, an enjoyable movie. Read through the reviews. The good reviews liked it because it was enjoyable, the bad ones disliked it because there were not enough laughs. So what? It's fun! Isn't that the point? Read for yourself and see if you agree. Expand

If you go to the movies to have fun, you shouldn't miss this. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It was touching, it had its funny moments, it had its romantic moments, it had its "movie moments" (those things you go to the movies for, because you know they never happen in real life). I guess what it comes down to in the ratings is why one goes to the movies. If it's to be entertained and to have fun, this is it. If it's to dissect each scene, and worry about PC, then.... Expand

  1. While it has its moments of pure Farrelly inspiration and swell performances from Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear...the patented blend of the outrageous and the sweet that has become the brothers' trademark struggles to find the desired balance here.

A one-joke affair about conjoined twins that feels like it bypassed the scripting stage and was filmed directly from the pitch, the comedy remains resoundingly unfunny.

What first feels like thin skit material gets funnier and sweeter. Damon and Kinnear make a terrific team.
