Good movie ***** out of *****

This is a fun little movie where Travolta shines and same with Jackman. Berry's part did some good (you know what I mean) but the whole part should've been cut, completely. If you want to have a good time, see this movie. The opening is unbelieveable, one of the best.

This movie is for sure a heart pounding non-stop action rollercoaster. Amazing high budget special effects and a very cool TVR TUSCAN are both things to be found in this film. The plot is not great but does not deserve the harsh reviews that it has been getting.

Fast, smooth, action-packed are just some of the words I can think of to describe this well-made film, Travolta's delivey of dialogue is absolutely excellent & makes the movie.

Very good movie. It had both action packed scences and also story line which will keep you thinking if he was justified for what he was doing or not. i.e do ends justify the means.

There are thrills to be had, like the Chopper carrying the bus in the air and THe car chase with the TVR. There's also the club-esque attitude of the atmosphere, and a sleek stylish feel, with a house soundtrack to match. Unfortunately, horrendously incoherent writing and atrocious dialogue, ultimately derail Swordfish from being good, rendering it an incoherent mess with worthy moments and a touch of style. Don't let the trailers fool you. Swordfish has more in common with "The Firm" than it does "Hackers". Yet it's level of worth may lie somewhere in between. If your expecting another Matrix-style Bullet Time fest, you may be fooled by the opening that that's what your getting. No. It begins very promising with an intelligent premise, but by the time a certain car chase occurs you may be thinking "Christ, hollywood's done it again." and you'd be right. Swordfish is at the very least very entertaining. Groundbreaking it is not. But then again it's not meant to be.… Expand

This is the worst movie I have seen in a long time. Poorly written, poorly acted, poorly directed, and poorly scored. Even Halle Berry's breasts don't make it worthwhile.

This movie was dynamite. It had some sophomoric moments, but overall it was Travolta in "Pulp Fiction" on steroids. Put that music in your go to library!

Great Acting, Halle Barry Naked, Great Action, and Good Plot Make A Movie The Best Movie In The Theatres Right Now. The Plot Makes It Fun To Decifer The Movie.

Not bad for a stupid action flick. But not good either. The only two reasons I can possibly think of recommending this movie are both of Halle Berry's breasts. And even that can wait until video!

Explosion-Porn that reaches its climax during the first 5 minutes of the film. Truth be told, it's as "sleek" as carpet-burn.

It's not the best movie of all time but if your looking for an action thriller with lots of viloence and an interesting plot you should see this movie.

Don't expect to much, but it's only top entertainment! Nothing more...

Great movie, nice cars good looking women and awesome music! twisty plot makes u think a little :) i think if u didnt like the film dont bash it....it just isn't your genre or u dont have the wits to keep up with the plot. P.S. movie critics are overpayed morons....make your own damn movies hypocrits.

This movie rocked! It wasn't the best flick I've ever seen or anything but it caught my attn, kept it and had me guessing a few times. Its awsome with visuals too...seen it a few times.

Pick a perspective you want: phony geek/hacker story involved, cheap vulgar spice with not-worth-mentioning xxs-breasts, killing innocent civilians- just for the sake of fx-explosion effects, idiotic point of all that -- quasi-answer to the politics happening to us now... it is just another b*s* travolta picked to play in. one of the worst movies seen for the long, long time. what a wast of time!

Best movie I have seen in a long time... Gets people thinking about all the freaks protecting us....

A convoluted plot that I did not understand, waste of good talent on this flick... a nice rental but I would not pay full price to see it.

I thought this was pretty good. Travolta often plays a strange character, and as soon as I accepted that, I enjoyed the movie.

Great acting from Hugh Jackman.

Not much on storyline but an entertaining, if mindless, 99 minutes.
