    This thoroughly engrossing, highly anticipated picture boasts assured direction by sophomore helmer Reema Kagti, a well-constructed script by Kagti and fellow femme writer Zoya Akhtar, and strong thesping by familiar Bollywood luminaries Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji.

    Some thrillers are described as taut. Talaash isn't taut, but loose and messy, the better to allow life's jagged edges to disturb the muscular, controlled world that its protagonist, Surjan "Suri" Shekhawat, has created for himself. When those inevitable cracks appear in Suri's world, the film grabs on tight and doesn't let go.

    The provocative noir experience that Talaash promises, with its jazzily scored, moodily lighted opening montage of a Mumbai red-light district at night, is nowhere to be found once this meandering mystery begins.

    One of the few great Hindi movies i ever witnessed .Amir Khan brilliant as usual and script and flow of movie is awesome.Its worth to watch and should consider as milestone of Hindi Cinema.… Full Review »

    Talaash is a great opportunity wasted. Rarely has a director been provided a bounty like Reema Kagti had at her disposal. An actor who could no wrong, the most accomplished star that Bollywood had to offer. Two of the best actresses of our generation. The best producer that a creative director could ask for. A great story line. And talaash, I repeat is a wasted opportunity. The worst dialogues ever written in Bollywood can be heard in this movie. Aamir has been reduced tu shade of what he is capable of.     Talaash is a movie which will appeal to class audience . People who like movies such as RR,ETT, ready or Bodyguard may hate it . But it's a Fine paced thriller which is slow at times. Performances are really good. Aamir Khan Does well in his restricted act. Rani and Kareena Are good. Nawazuddin Is Fantastic. Overall a fine Thriller .… Full Review »
