The dialogue, at best serviceable, becomes completely superfluous.

Repetitive and uninspired, it panders to the lowest expectations of horror buffs and squanders the efforts of a competent cast.
  3. Written by "Final Destination" screenwriter Jeffrey Reddick, the film has its dubious pleasures, not the least of which is the extended sight of nubile lead actress Jenna Dewan in a bustier, high heels and killer miniskirt.

A low-budget horror film with even lower ambitions, Tamara is a movie of few innovations but one genuine, if unintentional, surprise.

Genre jolts arise in spite of stylistic failures.
  6. A mediocre little thriller that might have promised cheap fun on Blockbuster's direct-to-DVD shelf is instead destined to die a quick death on the big screen.

There are few words to describe the awfulness of this movie, but let's give it the old college try: dismal, depressing, embarrassing and utterly lacking in any artistic or social worth.

Well, what shall I say? It's a really cliche movie and some scenes make me remember about Carrie, others remember I Know What U Did Last Summer and anothers. The cast isn't big deal, but in my opinion, they don't give much to desire. The script doesn't deepen as much as it should have been and the dialogue isn't much interesting. It's light-year far away from being a median movie. Only for fun, though. Expand

This is complete tripe. Avoid at all cost. Matthew Marsden (the teacher) sleepwalks through it, and the "Carrie" central character is neither quirky, sexy or menacing enough for me to care an iota. Sad sad sad! Expand
