Sep 18, 20119"Terminator 2: Judgement Day" is a rare blockbuster that overly exceeds its prequel with mind blowing action, unforgettable scenes, and deep character relationship / development. It is a simple masterpiece.

JSDec 9, 200910How can someone say this is overrated? There's no room for improvement. It was short and sweet, well thought out, epic, logical, engrossing. It had soft spots, action, tons of character development, just too many great scenes to mention. Terminator 2 is satisfying, like a good meal that you never get tired of eating.

BenS.Nov 19, 200610Maybe the critics don't like this one, but for viewers it is first class entertainment.Great action and special effects keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire movie. Classic - the best in the series. Watch it - it's hard not to have a great time.

EricJJan 1, 20084Terminator 2 is a nice action movie, but movies don't come more overrated.

GerrickC.May 13, 200610T2 is the best out of all the Terminator movies. What we have here is a masterfully made movie that tell the story of a future war fought in the past with not one but two terminators. Model 101 (Arnold) is the good guy and the cool T-1000 (Robert Patrick) is the seemingly invincible bad guy. The movie has suspense, action, and even some humor. T2 defines what classic movies are.

KongJul 11, 20039This movie makes T3 look like the piece of **** that it is.

FinfroskJan 4, 200410This is by far the best movie ever made. It has everything and so much more. The effects are the best ever made, incredible story, actors that blows you away, and the saddest ending in history. Makes me cry everytime. T2 is the king of movies. Period.

PatC.Jan 5, 20048A unique action-packed-yet-thought-provoking riveting show, stands alone without the prequel.

JayH.Jun 9, 20099One of the best sequels ever made, brilliant special effects, amazing pace. The acting is excellent by everyone. Superb direction, fascinating plot.

ChrisF.May 5, 20039Although, The Terminator, the first movie was more intense and brutal, Terminator 2 is one of the best sequals to a movie I've ever seen.

O.H.VictorRajK.Jun 12, 200310Probably the most watched movie by me and my friends. I would still watch it anytime. A great movie for first time viewers and nth time viewers. Now how many action movies can really claim that?

GrobManJun 13, 20049It's pure Hollywood, but with the amazingly versitile and shrewd James Carmeron at its helm, T2 deserves every bit of its status as a pop culture icon. Touching, cool and memorable for everyone from kids to adults even to those who like to take their films more seriously than they perhaps should.

GaborA.Jun 9, 20049Loaded wih more vision than shotgun shells and man are there a lot of shotgun shells. It's not a smart action movie. Time travel always opens more plot holes than ideas. It's the action itself that is smart.

DaveC.Jul 18, 20048While it doesn't really withstand repeat viewings (the characters are about as interesting as Steven Seagal), this film is still technically accomplished and undeniably delivers on the thrills, suspense and action which has always been Cameron's strong point.

MikeFeb 14, 20059This is the BEST terminator movie out of the series!! great ideas, not too silly, good plot. Great action movie!

AnonymousJun 7, 20059Note: this is for the special edition. A great movie. There's this feel to the film that I can't describe, but it brings you in and doesn't let go.

JosephK.Jul 23, 200310This movie was the greatest film of all time when it came out. It created the new era of special effects and the action was just pure genious. Arnie proved he was the king of hollywood in this film. It also had the best film score of all time. I guess u can just say that i'm a hard core Terminator fan. But, Lord of the Rings comes first.

Nov 20, 201010The only James Cameron movie I believe truly deserves a perfect score of 10. A classic that will be remembered by ages, but unfortunately, is in the shadows of Cameron's big and overrated movies like Titanic and Avatar.

Oct 26, 201010this sequel beats the original in just one shot for its neat special effects, great acting, and awesome action scenes.

Apr 10, 201110This is easily one of the best movies ever made. The script is top notch and acting is convincing and true. The soundtrack and graphical effects are great even for today. Amazing!
-
Aug 2, 20117Against the grain of what so many other people think, I don't really like JUDGMENT DAY anywhere near as much as THE TERMINATOR. It has too many unnecessary special effects. If just those had been edited to different ones / taken out completely (i.e. a Terminator coming out of the floor looking like a blob of checkers in the shape of a human body), this film would have been flawless.

Jan 2, 201210For me this is one of my favourite films of all time, if anyone doesn't like this then they clearly have mental problems. How can some of critics who gave this film a score in the red live with themselves
-
Dec 8, 20116While the acting is pretty terrible and plot could have been better, The good use of special effects and the solid action through out make up for it. I enjoyed it.

Apr 2, 201210First off, I would give this a 9.5 out of 10. This is a great sic-fi. The best terminator movie. Acting is good. Everyone does a good job. Score is good, and has a really good story. Really well made. The visual effects and action sequences are great. Well made and are just amazing. Overall, this is a great 90s action blockbuster. You really should see it.

100A great movie... A pop epiphany, marking that commercially creative point where the power of Hollywood meets the purity of myth.
-
67What is notable, though, is the amount of compassion invested in the film by Cameron and co-screenwriter William Wisher. There's a fairly well-drawn moral message in T2 that was more or less absent in the first film.
-
88The key element in any action picture, I think, is a good villain. Terminator 2 has one, along with an intriguing hero and fierce heroine, and a young boy who is played by Furlong with guts and energy.
