Yes, like many of Charles Burnett's films, it was a low budget, independently financed film, but it does not feel low budget in any way. The acting is superb and the technical aspects (photography, sound, etc.) are great. It is shame that this film has not been able to be seen by more people. It really is too bad that it isn't more mainstream so more people could enjoy it. Expand
