    I'm not such a fan of the original show to say a remake couldn't be made. This attempt, however SHOUDN'T have been made. God awful in every way. Even the leather lost its apeal (pun intended).

    The only reason this movie doesn't get a 0 is because Uma Thurman is in it. And she is utterly wasted. What were her and Connery thinking?

    I liked it. It captured the calm essence of the show womderfully. However Uma does not compare to Diana.

    Im not out to diss on movies and I dont judge by what critics say. Though I take into account their opinion. The movie wasnt amazingly bad...but for god sakes NO ONE EVER RAISED THEIR VOICES. It was all so calm and easy, even at moments that were expected to be action packed. Not the worst movie though, so take it easy.

    This is an elaborate production, but all the jazzy sets and explosions in the world can't disguise the story's complete lack of urgency.
