A fine Disney product scripted by cartoonist Key, who is also credited with Gus and The $1,000,000 Duck.
The fun, as usual with Disney pix, comes in the believable sight gags provided along the way. Also as usual, it’s a good cast of veterans and nothing to tax them beyond their abilities, all ably kept in pace by director Norman Tokar.
The Cat From Outer Space, is likely to keep the under-14's amused, at least if supplemented by plenty of popcorn.
Clearly not a |Disney classic as almost no-one has heard of it, this is vaguely enjoyable 70s hokum.
This tale of a visiting feline from outer space is liable to send anyone over the mental age of eight scurrying to the refuge of the candy bar. [17 Aug 1978]
Routine hi-jinks ensue, mixing strangely with ecology consciousness-raising, pseudo-scientific jargon, and everyday telekinesis.
