PatC.Mar 20, 20064Starts out kinda need but becomes hard to follow as the plot becomes blurred by the action.

EonfgeDMay 10, 20094The only thing that saves the movie from getting a lower score, is Riddick.

MichaelM.Oct 22, 20044I found it mostly boring and tedious. Vin Diesel is a horrible actor, but he can't muscle his way this film. Towards the end it gets really interesting, but that first hour and a half feels like a millenium. Pitch Black is a better film. Wait untill this one comes out to rent before viewing it. You'll be disappointed if you pan out nine bucks to see it in the movie theater.

Jok`RdeMoJul 4, 20043It is like XENA, but in future. Effects are great, but why the heck everybody is fighting with spears and knifes, when they have laser guns etc. And also armor - wow its kinda cool, very useless and you can see that it is not comfortable. Pitch black was good sci-fi, but Chronicles are bad fantasy movie.

JBAug 11, 20063This film is hilarious! It's too bad they didn't bill it as a comedy. Riddick suffers from poor acting, an unbelievable story, bad set and costume design, uninspiring music and, it would seem, even bad directing. Ignore the Variety quote ... this film is worse than Battlefield Earth in every way except special effects.

JoeyD.Jun 15, 20042Vin Diesel completionists need only see this film. It's a mess. The plot is pretty much non-existent and there is NO character development whatsoever. So much is left unexplained and the fight scenes are choppy and shot too close up. Vin Diesel has the emotional delivery of a baked potato. Hell, why not just replace him with one? They look pretty much the same.

ChrisMAug 6, 20041Wow. This movie is really, really, really crap. A laughable story, a stupid ending and some of the worst special effects I have seen in a film for some time. What the heck were they thinking!?!?!? ARGH! I want my money back...

May 20, 20131Riddick feels all but the same way every video game adaptation feels, action packed without a point but to copy the video game. To add on to that, it makes the sci-fi thriller Pitch Black look silly.

DawnB.Jun 16, 20040Worst sci-fi film I have ever seen. There comes a point where you can't figure out what's going on and the bad new is, you don't care. Way too long.

MardyR.Jul 18, 20040I think Josh C. needs to visit Cremetoria in the day time, and have a good talk with the Necromongers. Vin foo evah, P-E-A-C-E!

50This is a movie so devoted to metal that it couldn't care less about the flesh it destroys.

25There's nothing here you haven't seen before, especially if you own a PlayStation.

38An overblown hodgepodge of volcano-baked desertscapes, Egyptoid-gone-baroque architecture, and gladiator-geared storm troopers with goofy headpieces, The Chronicles of Riddick bears no resemblance to the movie that spawned its namesake.
