The amazing fortitude and sheer dumb luck that allowed every member of the Endurance crew to return home safely is showcased here in photos and a few snippets of film taken by crewmember Frank Hurley, interviews with modern-day experts and descendants of the crewmembers, and maps of the expedition's route. Think of this as a really classy Nova episode about one of the most amazing stories of true adventure ever. Expand

No time to build on any of the characters in the 93 minute movie. I would strongly recommend any of the novels.
