This is one of the best science fiction movie with teenagers ever. Everyone is great and they can act very well. Also, the movie has a very good concept of combining The Breakfast Club with Body Snatchers.
  2. Jul 11, 2014
The Faculty is a phenomenal action thriller. The cast is witty and the visual effects are impressive for a
low budget movie. All of Robert Rodriguez's movies are terrific, the faculty is a modern classic.
  3. Sep 14, 2014
A first rate thriller with a talented cast, eye dazzling special effects and a complex plot that works well.

The Faculty is a slick, sci if chiller from the makers of Scream and Desperado. Aliens invade a school in Ohio and a group of students who are suspicious of the faculty there fight to stay human. The acting by every actor adds to the movie. Salma Hayek, Josh Hartnett, Famke Janssen, Elijah Wood, Christopher McDonald, Jon Stewart, Bebe Neuwarth and Clea Duvall all give memorable performances. The movie will leave you guessing who the master alien is and when you figure out who it is, you will be surprised. The special effects are also impressive given the movie had a 15 million dollar budget. Directors like Wes Craven and Robert Rodriguez know how to make movies look more expensive than they are. The special effects in both movies are top notch. Expand

The Faculty has great actors, action, storyline and witty dialogue. The Faculty was made for a low budget,
but the effects look expensive because they're elaborate. Overall the whole movie is exciting and

When some very creepy things start happening around school, the kids at Herrington High make a chilling
discovery that confirms their worst suspicions: their teachers really are from another planet ! As mind-
controlling parasites rapidly begin spreading from the faculty to the students' bodies, it's ultimately up
to the few who are left. An unlikely collection of loners, leaders, nerds and jocks to save the world from
alien domination. A classic thriller starring Josh Hartnett, Elijah Wood, Robert Patrick, Jordana Brewster,
Famke Janssen, Jon Stewart, Usher Raymond and Christopher McDonald (Requiem For A Dream and
    Happy Gilmore).

It looks like Williamson threw five old scripts in the air and Rodriguez shot the first 90 pages he picked up. I'd like a little more meat on my burger because all I can taste is the cheese.

The Faculty deserves a week of detention, not so much for missing the point as for blunting it.
