    I've read almost every one of PKD's books, but stopped watching this movie before it finished. Completely and utterly boring.

    "Writers are only interesting for what they've written"? Not really. They have lives, you know, sometimes interesting ones. Phil Dick had an interesting life. Not that you'd know it from this film. Almost exactly not what the Godfather himself deserves.

    Anyone interested in this remarkably prolific author would be better off visiting a library or bookshop.

    The filmmakers created an animated version of the writer to accompany audio clips of Dick speaking. It's a well-intentioned but unsatisfying invention, which pretty much sums up the whole enterprise.
