I disagree with TheNewSpielberg.
I felt this movie was very hilarious, and well executed. Why does my review need to be at least 150 characters long?

There are nonstop laughs and Eddie Murphy gives great performances for all of the 5 or 6 roles that he takes. The humor is simply spot-on in this comedy.

It makes it hard to remember just what a comedy genius this guy used to be, and The Nutty Professor is a prime example of that. Nobody else could have pulled off this role and made this film as good as it was. It's always been kind of a stupid story, but Murphy played into that and turned it into something that both kids and adults would find funny. No matter what you think of Eddie Murphy, it is impossible not to laugh during this movie. The Nutty Professor is two hours of fun, and on top of that, it's a refershing kind of comedy that we don't really see much of anymore. Expand

It's a hilarious comedy that works so well because of Eddie, but its also a great concept with a good meaning behind to it also. The classic 'dinner scene' is possibly one of my favourite scenes in a film, and it is just hilarious! Overall this is one of my personal favourite comedies, and I would highly recommend it! Expand
