    "The Prince of Egypt" is a well made animation re-telling the story of Moses from the Bible. You would definitely want to show it to your kids if your christian.

    I think this is the best animated film I've ever seen, It has great memorable songs, a wonderful score, it's sometimes funny but more importantly it moved me like no other animated film I've ever seen!

    This is a wonderful telling of the book of Exodus and anyone that says otherwise can go die. The music makes this movie 10 times more memorable. Critics are wrong about this movie. It seems as though they went in the theater expecting to see a comedy. I'm pretty sure the Bible wasn't meant to be funny... so go screw yourselves

    Honestly, I thought this movie was really great. I don't know how it managed to get a 64 average from the critics that were considered on this site. It's an inspiring story that isn't supposed to be funny and manages to reach some pretty intense levels in some scenes. The songs are pretty nice too, especially "When You Believe" which literally gave me goosebumps. This is a movie that's about freedom and inspiration while using a story from the Bible and it does its job excellently as that.… Expand

    This movie is totally epic. it retells the book of Exodus and its well-written. the animation kicked a**, the characters' peformances were the best, the visuals were excellent, the music rocked, and the cinematography is awesome. The Prince of Egypt is just the right Dreamworks animated movie and kids will love it.

    The Prince of Egypt's story can feel just powerful at times and it had dazzling animation and great music. But with some lackluster voice performances the whole thing is almost ruined. I give this movie 60%.

    Prince Of Egypt is epic storytelling on the grandest scale. Big imagery, big themes, big emotions - all met head-on and accomplished triumphantly within a film that is in essence a live action movie - more precisely a Steven Spielberg live action movie - writ cartoon.

    Much of the animation is stunning and all of the vocal performances are good to great. It's just much of the passion seems to be in not stepping on anyone's beliefs or interpretations, instead of in telling the story in the most compelling way possible.
