Yeah, no critic would dare give something like The Godfather or Casablanca anything less than a 100.

(To the post below) I wouldn't consider the reissue of "classic" movies, as many of them seem to be only reviewed by those who loved the film in the first place. In my eyes, those scores are a little biased.

Getting in the high 90s on Rotten Tomatoes is a huge achievement. But getting in the high 90s on Metacritic, whose average-based Metascores are much stricter, is an even bigger one. The 24th highest Metascore on this website, I believe.

I've see the movie and I think it's a great movie. Andrew Garfield will get a nomination for supporting actor for this movie. Timberlake did a good job, hell everybody did.

    lol @ comments from August:

"This WILL suck. That's a promise"

"This is going to bomb - HARD."

The movie is better than a tall can of green beans.

    Yeah Radiohead circa 1994

Love the song during this trailer.

I think that a film needs to be considered an impact time of approximately six months, or maybe a year. Even the most ingenious critic can not give an objective opinion quickly. The film is beautiful for that reason. Everyone says it, gracefully. The comparison of writers, thinkers, more or less ingenious is always a good thing. Like all big ideas, the danger is always within them.

I think this movie will be a bang! On the face! ON THE FACE!

    98 out of 100 its a bang

This movie will either be as great as the hype, or will be severely disappointing, there is no in-between. I'm very afraid it will be the latter.

when the New Yorker gives a movie a 10/10 and the metascore is 98/100 you know it's worth seeing :O

WOW look at these reviews! Who would've thought? Now I gotta see it.

This looks suprisingly interesting. One of the films I will actually go out and watch.

Are people really saying that this movie looks bad? It was written by Aaron Sorkin of West Wing, directed by David Fincher (One of the best directors living IMO). This trailer looks amazing, everything from the music to the set up is perfect. Also, it isn't really about Facebook. It's about the founding of Facebook on the surface, but under that it's about wanting to be accepted and popular, which is why some people join Facebook in the first place.

    Sorry about the double post
