The Week Of is the wedding you forgot you were invited to, weren’t all that stoked to attend, then wound up loving anyway because you had such a surprisingly good time.

While the movie is ultimately more of the same old same old, it is at least not as appallingly sexist and culturally insensitive as “The Ridiculous Six,” Mr. Sandler’s dreaded 2015 Netflix Original western “spoof.”

I don’t get all the Sandler “haters” who think it’s cool tonhatebhis movies. This one stands out as one of the best in ages. Sandler’s acting here is subtle and way better than any movie he’s done! And the comedy is hilarious. Some scenes make me laugh just thinking about them. Rock and the rest of the cast are perfect. This movie has heart and hilarity- at my house, we are watching it over and over.

It's funny but the laughs are placed very few and far between. I guess there is one good part that Chris Rock is in this because he **** in this.

The Week Of is a drawn out comedy that never quite hits its mark with its comedic moments or sentimental message. Rather than bring anything new to the wedding genre, it plays these comparisons to cheap laughs and cringe-worthy moments in a terribly paced and repetitive story that makes you question by the end of its long runtime: what did I just watch? This film almost feels like a story worth caring about, but then any emotion it builds is lost on outlandish attempts at humour.

i don't wanna be rude.. The Week Of Its core strength lies on the character's emotion and bonding which may be installed on the script subtly but it utterly fails to project it on screen which grows shallow as it ages on screen. Robert Smigel may ace on creating the sketchy comic scenes that tickles you but still lacks some execution skills which was essential in here. Adam Sandler is convincingly good along with Chris Rock on his supporting side but it still doesn't surpasses the expectations on performance level. Even at its peak stage, The Week Of falls on mediocrity with a familiar concept, usual characters and cliched comic sequences that may come under one of your guilty pleasures.
