Perfectly captures the cultural and emotional wasteland that is suburban Jersey.
The movie's a gas. Very funny, to a rather dark degree.
The movie is as modestly unpretentious as David O. Russell's "Spanking the Monkey."
Jack's odyssey, despite some clunky writing and predictable first-movie missteps, gives off a flavor and a flair that stick with you.
A picture that's pleasantly forgettable.
Clever and offbeat.
The material is slender, the characters not sufficiently engaging or eccentric for a feature-length movie.
