Sep 15, 201110Pertaining everything from story depth to animation, Pixar has created a movie that is considered a true cinematic masterpiece; the movie of my life. Cheers Pixar!!!
-
Mar 17, 201110The movie that made Pixar really significant, and one of the most nostalgic movies I have known of. I love the characters, the design, the story, and the animation. It's because Pixar is one of the animation studios that can do this extremely well.
-
PatS.Sep 14, 20053Complete rip off of the underrated cult-classic `The Brave Little Toaster'. Just about every Pixar film hailed for its 'originality' has its roots planted elsewhere. Monsters Inc = Aaaah! Real Monsters, The Incredibles = Fantastic Four, so on and so forth.

-
DaveHDec 5, 20096There's nothing special about this movie, it has only received acclaim because it was the first computer animated film, I'd compare its plot to Ant Bully or Open Season, they are about the same level.

BrendanCofrinJan 6, 20040It was the worst thing ever to appear on a movie screen. unless you're a 2 year old, then you shouldn't be watching this crap anyway! All you people that gave this score a 10 sould reconsider your thoughts. NOW!!!!!

-
JoseyTApr 5, 200510The greatest movie ever!!!

-
JoeB.Mar 10, 200510This movie owns! If you have never watched Toy Story, I think you have lived in a cave for 10 years!
-
-
BuzzLightyearApr 9, 200510This movie is fantastic. Handling serious issues (like the fear to be thrown away when you're old and ugly) in a sincere and hilarious way. You'll find your self watching it over and over with your kids.

Apr 7, 201110Spectacular masterpiece that made Pixar famous, revolutionized movies the same way Star Wars did, and introduced people to one of the best trilogies ever!
-
Jan 4, 201110A great movie for everybody. Not my favourite movie but it deserves a ten.
-
Aug 11, 201110Incredible groundbreaking-animation, fun action thrills, very funny voices and characters as real as any live-action film are what make this (first) Pixar effort a true masterpiece
-
NicholasD.Oct 1, 200610A great movie to watch.

-
A.N.O'NymousOct 22, 200210I can't believe no-one's voted for this! It's one of the greatest films on Earth! And so is the sequel! Come on, people!

-
JayF.Oct 28, 200510Bright, colourful, fun and touching. From the most cynical adult to the most inquisitive child, everyone should enjoy this film.
-
-
LeoJan 3, 200610When I was a child I used to love this film and now I can understand the jokes that my parents laughed at when, which is the whole brilliance of the film, it is fun for everyone. It deserves 10 just for the joy it brought to me as a child.

-
BrandonK.Mar 27, 200710Brilliant film. The best animated film ever made by a country mile.

ZeeMSep 21, 200710Brilliant, Wonderful, touching, and an amazing story line. Truly The BEST OF THE BEST!

-
Ikarus14Aug 3, 200910Not only did this film prove what animation could really do, but it joins the list of films that you should see before you die (at least twice actually). Even to this day of 2009 the animation is still very impressive because not a single frame of film is misused or wasted, so every single one pulls you into the story and refuses to let you go. A pure masterpiece!

MichelleP.Oct 26, 20026I know. I'll bet you can't believe I gave it this grade, but it's the truth. It just didn't give me that, "WOW! That movie was sooo incredibly great!" feeling like the other Pixar movies did. Sorry, but it's an opinion, not a fact. You'll like this movie better than I did.

-
AlyssaS.Dec 13, 20037I liked toy story. But why I rate it a 7 is because I't is'nt my favorite show but it was'nt the worst show I have ever seen either.
-
-
AMovieCriticAug 7, 20039Much better than any of Pixar's newer movies. (Toy Story 2, Monsters INC, etc.)
-
-
YoonC.Sep 21, 20037I have a natural prejudice against this kind of cuteness but it's pretty effective for what it is. There are moments which are even disquieting with a surreal touch.

-
BobNov 5, 200410It's not a great movie in the sense of a movie like the godfather, but it's a great movie because it's fun. It's funny, lighthearted and in the end an excellent movie.
-
-
KelseyS.Oct 6, 200410This movie is funny and wonderful for people of all ages!!!
-
-
AndrewM.May 9, 20049Fantastic entertainment! The visuals astounded me, the characters humoured me, and the story simply picked me up and whisked me away. Wonderful. I hope you enjoy the ride too. (ps. Mr Cofrin, pls don't tell me or other users what to think. Just stick to your own opinion!)

-
KathleenS.Jan 4, 200510I loved this movie. There was such a strong human element in the toys. You felt all the love, jealousy, loyalty, and adrenalin of each character - as much as you would in a live action film.
-
-
[Anonymous]Sep 21, 20058Liked it as a kid, and it's still quite likable today.

-
ShannonSep 7, 200510BEST MOVIE ON THIS PLANET! I think everyone in the u.s. has seen this movie and everyone knows it is the best movie ever. it rox my sox!
-
-
JonD.Mar 29, 20066I liked it as a kid was never a big fan but I completely agree with Pat S. Every single pixar film is taken from another movie. Maybe not every but atleatst 75%.
-
-
ChristianPApr 19, 200810A great movie for all ages! It's impressive back in 1995 it's still impressive in 2008! This is the best animated film ever made.
-
-
PatC.Jan 15, 20047This initial triumph of digital animation technology totally dolls up the underlying sparse dumb-ass story and extracts moments of intensely colored sharply focused glee.
-
-
PatrickD.Sep 13, 200510WHat makes this film so appealing? Who cares? It's brilliant!
-
-
JonLJul 25, 200710What kind of cynical, soulless husk could hate this movie? Brilliantly written, innovative (obviously) and endless entertaining.
-
-
Aug 14, 20109A really good kid's movie that adults will enjoy watching alongside them. Cute plot, quality voice actors, and two great movies to follow it up! Can't miss.
-
Oct 19, 201010How such a simple children's film can have a profound effect on the world. It brings both the child and the adult together to create the ultimate universal film we can all relate to. It's touching, witty and masterful.
-
Aug 19, 201010The best three-part long trilogy I've ever seen. I love the characters, films and action that this fifteen-year old collection makes. Somebody give John Lasseter a gold star! Pixar is the best company ever!!
-
Sep 2, 201010Unlike other old films, Toy Story holds up remarkably (and somewhat unsurprisingly) well today, that captures the spirit of childhood and is boldly innovative. All 3 Toy Story films make it into my top 10 best films ever, with the original being pure, brilliant and magical. One for all ages.
-
Nov 23, 201010This is my favourite movie of all time, I love the characters I love the story I mean this movie is just brilliant!!! The animation is remarkable! Brilliant just brilliant!
-
Oct 28, 201010My favorite CGI movie of all time.
-
Nov 12, 201010Why do people give it such a low score when it does not deserve it? oh boy.... Anyways, it was the best animated movie of the 90's and probably one of the best ever.
-
Aug 4, 201110The perfect kid's movie. The idea that everyone (i think) has thought: toys coming to life! This movie was AMAZING. It expresses true friendship and the struggles within perfect, and comically. Great.
-

May 23, 201210This is an amazing film. I just love everything about it and I love the fact that I can connect to the message the movie wants to perceive to us. This is the perfect start to an incredible series of stories between Andy and his toys....
-
May 20, 201110I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH. ITS MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME. I WAS WONDERFUL AND FUNNY AND GLORIOUS. TOY STORY is a classic. Woody and Buzz Lightyear will always be remembered. Pixar's best movie ever.
-
Jul 5, 201110Toy Story is, in my mind, probably the greatest animated film ever made. The story, the characters, eberything about this movie is absolutely perfect.
-
Feb 4, 20125A pretty fun one. Or average. I give it 5 out of 10.
-
Nov 30, 201110Dude, this is a classic. I can't think of anything negative to say about it. Just as good now I'm 17 as it was when I was 3. The timing, the script, the voice acting, the animation, the comedy and the story feel just about perfect.
-
Nov 10, 201110This is the film that started all computer-animated films. This film has an extremely big impact on the film industry because of the animation, but that is not all. The story is interesting and well written. The characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear are what makes it the most interesting.

Nov 15, 20119Great first movie for Pixar; it has given it a fantastic reputation of what we know it as today. Awesome beginning for the trilogy. Recommended for all ages; can be a family classic or for adults reflecting in their childhood. It is always a great classic.
-
Jan 16, 201210Original and just lovely. Toy Story is a fantastic film that will entertain many from any age alike. And it is just a great start to Pixar's full length films. I give this movie 98%.

90Though computer-animated rather than hand-drawn, this wry, rippingly paced buddy movie is as delightful in its own way as any of Walt Disney's traditional fairy tales.
-
80Once again Disney has come up with a winning animated feature that has something for everyone on the age spectrum.
-
75The first all computer-animated feature, which brings a bedroom of playthings to bouncy life, is yummy eye candy spiked with 3-D-style tactile treats.
