Sad film. It's all about black men's fantasy, mixed with some self-mocking humor. I'm so sorry to see it influences the general public's view on racism. The problem of all racial issues in the U.S. is partly due to the naivety and rejection to look at critically of the dark side of human nature. I encourage people to travel to foreign countries or think critically on the racial issues. Read books by Tony Morrison. Racism is an important and serious issue that deserves a serious look and film. Expand

I was sore and red eyed, it has many laugh out loud moments; "austin powers" meets "i'm gonna get you sucka" with a budget in between the two. It begs a teaming of mike myers and malcolm lee.

This movie was not nearly as stupid as it looks, and outrageously funny. I laughed until I cried during the scene in which Doogie Howser finally asserts his manhood. Chris Kattan overdoes it, as usual, but at least he was funny...in some of his movies he's overdoing it and STILL isn't funny.

If I were you I would buy this movie. I wanna go see this movie again. Has a great role of charachters also. To all the people who dissed this movie. YOU SUCK!!!

If you grew up in a racially diverse low income neighborhood then the humor in this movie does not work. I can only guess that the critiques that raved about this movie had their perceptually developed stereotypes fed.

This movie really surprised me. It was hillarious and original. One of last year's best films. This movie puts to shame the Austin Powers franchise. Any movie with a good performance from Mrs. Charlie Sheen is a must.

This lame sex farce can hardly be considered entertainment and it delivers very few laughs. i guess maybe if your bored and youre up for a rude crude lewd comic extravaganza then you could watch it. otherwise steer clear.

Funny stuff people, go see it now! Sistah Girl, White She Devil, and Smart Brother help Undercover Brother be almost as Austin Powers.

This is a really funny movie. It isn't even all that dumb, it's pretty clever. The only real downside is Chris Kattan, who tries WAY to hard to be funny at being over-the-top, which is an understatement. Unlike other comedies like A Night At The Roxbury, which, towards the ending of the middle through the rest of the film, just run out of jokes, this movie never runs out of them.

I thought it was very funny, there was only one disturbing part which is unusual now in days. All in all it is a great movie and will keep everyone laughing.

Make room, Monty Python: Undercover Brother is destined to become a classic, quoted in boardrooms and middle-school cafeterias alike. This movie makes fun of everybody and thus offends nobody. The Big Gulp scene at the beginning alone is worth the price of admission, but it doesn't stop there. It's pretty much a gag a minute: the conspiracy theories, the mayonnaise, the platform heels, the karaoke, the showdown to the tune of - yes - Beat It. If everyone in America just got together and watched this movie, the world would be a better place. Expand

Undercover Brother is da bomb. Get it on DVD. On first viewing, you'll probably miss some of the jokes, as they are very subtle, but multiple screenings will reveal even more laughs! Eddie Griffin does a fantastic job leading a briliiant cast including Dave Chapelle, Chris Kattan and even a chameo from James Brown. If you are the type that enjoys light-hearted comedies, such as Deuce Bigalow and Wedding Crashers, you'll fall in love with Undercover Brother. Expand

Here's a conspiracy for you, why can't someone make a movie we can all laugh at while watching? Yes it does make a statement about the state of today's pop culture, but, perhaps the aspect of dressing in 70's threads had more of an appeal to Eddie Griffin. It shouldn't matter if your black or white, sit back and enjoy the funniest script I've seen made into a movie in quite sometime. Expand

  1. Not only is Undercover Brother the funniest spy-thriller since "The Nude Bomb" (oh, behave), it feels like the proper sequel to "The Blues Brothers," crossing all kinds of lines between cartoonish buffoonery and genuine compassion for its characters.
  2. This is a smart, spirited spoof that will leave you with a smile on your face - and an appetite for some serious '70s funk to play on the eight-track in your solid gold Cadillac convertible.

The movie isn't just hilarious: It's witty and inventive, too, and in hindsight, it isn't even all that dumb.
