So touching, I can't helping crying while watching the movie. I have a good family, 2 kids and a wife. It reminds me what a busy life could miss, and when I was alone it let me feel all the importance of family and love to everyone else, especially to little ones. How fragile they could be without a normal life.

The movie is great, Noya portrays such an intelligent little boy with adult mannerisms and a wonderfully amusing conversation style.

The choice to have Valentin narrate the tale and make philosophical observations beyond his years becomes irritating at times; ditto the cartoon humor.

Agresti has more on his mind than tugging at heartstrings.
  3. With charm to spare, Valentin fuses nostalgia and humor in an episodic story whose ultimate focus is the birth of a writer.
