JulianW.Oct 31, 200210Real, unlike american make-believe. Funny, poignant, refreshing, clean, believable.

K.J.Sep 10, 20029This is a 'must see' - forget what the critics say, they're so far up themselves they can't see the wood for the trees!

StevenR.Feb 10, 20041If you neither like or hate the characters, you end up not caring what happens to them. Walked out halfway through.

EllenH.Apr 30, 20059A hoot! Has some problems, but all in all, a cheery movie. Laughed out loud several times, a rarity in movies these days.

DonD.Jul 19, 20028First saw film at Celtic Film Fest. Truro, Cornwall. So impressed I bought the video. Quirky, poignant, split-side funny, especially Three Tenor's sequence. Not a dry seat in the house after the Puccni. Well done Sarah!

AllenOct 13, 200310There are no car crashes, no explosions, no plastic people. This film is not for the immature.

BarbaraD.Dec 7, 200310It's been six months since I've seen this movie and I still can't stop wanting to see it again. Am looking to buy it for Christmas for friends who haven't caught it in the theatre. Have not been able to rent it in any of the usual places. This was the funniest, most poignant movie I have seen in years! And I want to share it with everyone I know.

GlynO.Aug 3, 200310This has to be the best welsh movie ever. The cast are brilliant and the acting is superb. The commedy is typically Welsh in character and is 2nd to none!!

50Familiar but winningly funny and good-hearted.

40As it lurches between mush and farce, Very Annie Mary churns up a few genuinely funny bits.

38Having mined England and Ireland dry, filmmakers are now turning to Wales for their quirkiness quota.
