Real, unlike american make-believe. Funny, poignant, refreshing, clean, believable.

This is a 'must see' - forget what the critics say, they're so far up themselves they can't see the wood for the trees!

If you neither like or hate the characters, you end up not caring what happens to them. Walked out halfway through.

A hoot! Has some problems, but all in all, a cheery movie. Laughed out loud several times, a rarity in movies these days.

First saw film at Celtic Film Fest. Truro, Cornwall. So impressed I bought the video. Quirky, poignant, split-side funny, especially Three Tenor's sequence. Not a dry seat in the house after the Puccni. Well done Sarah!

There are no car crashes, no explosions, no plastic people. This film is not for the immature.

It's been six months since I've seen this movie and I still can't stop wanting to see it again. Am looking to buy it for Christmas for friends who haven't caught it in the theatre. Have not been able to rent it in any of the usual places. This was the funniest, most poignant movie I have seen in years! And I want to share it with everyone I know.

This has to be the best welsh movie ever. The cast are brilliant and the acting is superb. The commedy is typically Welsh in character and is 2nd to none!!

  1. Familiar but winningly funny and good-hearted.
  2. As it lurches between mush and farce, Very Annie Mary churns up a few genuinely funny bits.
  3. Having mined England and Ireland dry, filmmakers are now turning to Wales for their quirkiness quota.
