  • Summary: Each of five stories traces a single sexual encounter between each couple, leading from "Foreplay" through to "Afterglow." Each couple's attempt to have sex is met with an endless stream of complications. The Couple, Abby and Andrew, try to spice up their stale love life, only to discover that things are worse than they thought. Matt and Kristen are The Friends, lifelong buddies, one sick and the other sick of love. Their plan to sleep together goes off the rails when romance rears its ugly head. The Exes, Mia and Eric, hook up again for old time's sake, while trying to hide the feelings they still have for one another. In The First Date, world-class playboy Ken comes clean about his history to his naïve young date Jamie, learning some of her secrets in the process. The Roommates, Dave and Gord are normally at each other's throats, but set aside their differences for a threesome with Gord's girlfriend Inez.     While it's too smart to be shelved on the porn rack, "YPF" (a neutered acronym for Young People F**king, its original title) shoots Judd Apatow-styled raunch into previously uncharted stratospheres of frank sexual humor.

    Very funny looking at five couples as they negotiate the intricacies of sex.

    Absolutely nothing of value in this pile of dull, cliched, vignettes. There is no social commentary, no examination of character, nothing. It isn't even slightly humorous or "edgy" (except for the word **** in the title). Speaking of the title, it doesn't even deliver what it advertises. Other than a few "boob-shots" (and not even from the hottest girl), one can find more sexuality in a deodorant commercial. Skip this film, watch a full-length porn (for free) on your favorite porn website, for equally good storytelling, and see young people [actually] ****ing.… Expand
