The year’s best film so far.
Boasting a pitch perfect voice cast led by a terrific Ginnifer Goodwin as a righteous rural rabbit who becomes the first cotton-tailed police recruit in the mammal-centric city of Zootopia, the 3D caper expertly combines keen wit with a gentle, and very timely, message of inclusivity and empowerment.

"Zootopia, Like You Have Nothing See Be-fur " I remember watching this movie during my high school days. And let me tell you that after watching Deadpool. This has been my favorite movie in the year 2016. And I am just so happy that this movie became very popular. (Especially in the Furry Fandom)The movie not only has the best story but this movie tackled a lot of racism and has been trying to tackle real-life events even today. The animation is absolutely glorious for me to see, and the characters are amazingly designed. And the place Zootopia is completely beautiful and this is one of my favorite Disney places to go. And the story in this movie is an absolute masterpiece. Both Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps are just unique in that these two are my favorite characters in the movie and I absolutely love these two together Disney is going to make a sequel for this movie. Then Nick and Judy deserve to be together and they deserve to be a couple and I don't really care what anyone else says!

Zootropolis is a real delight - an entertaining and endlessly inventive comedy and something with more insight than anyone could have anticipated.
If Zootopia were a bit vaguer, or perhaps dumber and less pleased with itself, it might have been a classic, albeit of a very different, less reputable sort. As-is, it's a goodhearted, handsomely executed film that doesn't add up in the way it wants to.
The film goes deeper in its allegorizing, tapping into the volatile nature of identity politics.
Like the movie as a whole, she (Judy) is funny, sweet, sophisticated and adventurous.
Zootopia takes the cultural practice of posing animals as human characters to queasy new heights.
COMENTARIO DE "ZOOTOPIA"
ZOOTOPIA" es una película estadounidense de género animación, comedia, infantil. Estrenada el 12 de febrero de 2016, dirigida por Byron Howard, Rich Moore y Jared Bush. Producida por Walt Disney animation studios, con una duración de 108 minutos.
La historia en sí consiste en una coneja Judy Hopps, el sueño de su infancia es convertirse en oficial de policía. De esta manera, ella quiere emprender un viaje a "Zootopia", ciudad poblada exclusivamente por animales de distintas razas con bastantes características humanas, como utilizar vestimenta, trabajar, caminar en dos patas, entre otros. Judy Hopps se enfrenta a muchas circunstancias complejas, en medio de esta travesía se encuentra con un zorro, Nick Wild, quien la acompaña en una investigación muy importante.
Uno de los aspectos positivos que nos deja la película es el tema de la superación personal, la perseverancia y la constancia, siendo una película dirigida principalmente a niños, deja la moraleja de luchar por sus propios sueños; además de seguir adelante sin importar los comentarios de los demás. Zootopia deja muy en claro el asunto de no confiar en personas desconocidas, pues sus intenciones no siempre son las mejores; algo realmente crucial en el crecimiento del niño, de esta manera se preparan para situaciones futuras.
Otro aspecto muy bueno, es el desarrollo de cada personaje, su trama policiaca y la intriga que deja todo el asunto de la investigación, pues el espectador puede generar muchas posibles hipótesis sobre la trama. La animación es excelente, los gráficos y movimientos de cada animal se asemeja bastante a los movimientos humanos y un uso de colores que son adecuados a cada escenario. La **** en gran parte por un reconocido compositor; Michael Giacchino, famoso por hacer parte de la discografía en películas reconocidas como ratatouille, up, Batman, entre otros. Por otro lado, tenemos a Gazelle, personaje al cual le da voz la cantante Shakira, gran representante colombiana, esto le da un plus a esta maravillosa película.
En definitiva, es una película muy aclamada, por su grandiosa trama, producción, discografía y libreto. Merece una calificación de 10 estrellas, en una escala de 0 a 10.

I watched it back in 2016 as a 12 year old, and it made me a furry, there definately should've been a warning for that in the trailer. Only problems i have with the movie are: 1. gazzelle is a bit inappropirate for children, 2. plot is predictable to anyone over the age of 12, 3. annoying furries over-rate the movie, just because they have a crush on Nick Wilde and 4. Liking this movie causes edgy teens to call you a furry on the internet.
Otherwise it is an ok time passer for quarantine.

I must say watching this with my son I was very entertained, that said the lofty moral concepts it discusses dont seem to fit into the screenplay comfortably leading to some very akward dialogue between (entirely anthropomorphised cg animals in clothes).... Seems like it tried too hard to go to deep with its concept and misses the opportunity to better motivate and flesh out the secondary characters.... That being said, you'd have to be having a bad day not to enjoy watching this one with your kids!

There's hardly anything to like about this film. It only exists as a means for Disney to push an agenda on the current generation to politically radicalise them into leftism. The characters were plain at best and the comedy often fell flat or was cringe inducing at the worst of scenes. The movie hardly deserved the praise it received from the public for being "a kids movie tackling important societal issues", when it shouldn't have relied on being political to be a good kids movie. The only positive thing about this film is its well done CGI. That's it.
