Far from descending into a pale imitation like, say, a Kingdom Come or late-'80s Whitesnake, however, BCC's offerings rise above and fly true thanks to the unimpeachable pedigree and recognizable musical personalities of all involved here.

These guys have defied the odds to deliver a collection that's all gold and no albatross.

While the heat lessens toward the end, this fine return possibly betters their acclaimed debut. [11 Jun 2011, p.51]
  4. This one feels much more like a group searching for a sound together, even if the sound once belonged in a Venn diagram linking Led Zep, Deep Purple and Dio-era Sabbath. And it rocks most periodly.

It's retread music, purely, simply, unapologetically. So what? If you can top "Man In The Middle", "I Can See Your Spirit", or "Save Me", please do.

I gave it a seven but it is an enthusiastic seven. I liked the record. I thought there were only one or two places when it wasn't consistent.I gave it a seven but it is an enthusiastic seven. I liked the record. I thought there were only one or two places when it wasn't consistent. The singer on the album has spent most of his career in bands with big named players that for some reason nobody wanted with the records of. Good strong vocals and a good sense of mood are standout characteristics of this album. Starts hard driving and energetic and keeps up a good pace all the way through. I recommend this to hard rock fans. Expand
