    This is a great album that really progresses garage rock today. The philosophy that rock is always suppose to change everyday is just ridicules. Just to turn on your radio today and listen is horific today. Most supposedly "rock" music sounds like a blowdryer, without any good melodies what so ever. This band among others (Kings of Leon, Strokes, Jet, Raveonettes, Libertines, Razorlight) This is a great album that really progresses garage rock today. The philosophy that rock is always suppose to change everyday is just ridicules. Just to turn on your radio today and listen is horific today. Most supposedly "rock" music sounds like a blowdryer, without any good melodies what so ever. This band among others (Kings of Leon, Strokes, Jet, Raveonettes, Libertines, Razorlight) are bringing back that great sound from that does not depress you or maddens you like current music. This is truly a good band and has all the formulas for a great song.… Expand

    Not only are some of these reviews harsh, some of them are just simply way off the mark. The 22-20's blues foundation is obvious and though the content of the lyrics may have been heard before, these guys put a sharp, hard edge on their riffs that separates them from most of the post-Strokes stripped down wanna-be's out there. Devil In Me, I'm the One, 22 Days and Why Not only are some of these reviews harsh, some of them are just simply way off the mark.     i'm surprised by some of these harsh reviews...in the context of 'garage''s 6th or maybe 16th wave in 2005, I thought this one stood out as darker and melodic enough to do better. something reminds me of the Animals, and there's very little silliness going on here. should be revisited and enjoyed, maybe grows on you with time.
