  1. There's a core of at least seven songs here that rate as highly as the best from the first two albums, and they're anything but reheated.
  2. Cole (the star of her own hit BET reality series) still sounds plenty intense singing about finding a guy who completes her.
  3. Throughout, though, Cole emphatically dares to be different--and pretty great.
  4. Like Blige, Cole luckily possesses the vocal talent to carry the album through weaker moments.
  5. Cole does better when she keeps an eye toward the future.
  6. Where her voice was once assured and three-dimensional, here, although many of the songs are pleasant, Ms. Cole comes off flat.

As a Goldengirl 4Keyshia Cole I love the new CD. I can respect that she is showing her artistic growth, however, I still prefer her sad As a Goldengirl 4Keyshia Cole I love the new CD. I can respect that she is showing her artistic growth, however, I still prefer her sad soulful sound. That pain in her voice is what stikes a cord within her audience. So bravo for the variety, but she shouldn't stray to far from that winning formula. Still got your back Keysh! Expand

Keyshia cole is absolutey the best because her vocals are clearer and stronger but you can still feel her soul and she changed it up a 360 so Keyshia cole is absolutey the best because her vocals are clearer and stronger but you can still feel her soul and she changed it up a 360 so i comment Keyshia for that.It focuses on one topic unlike her others(which is cool). She talks about a sexy side although she kinda strays away from the L word alot with the exception of about three songs so I think she is singin about potential love or pre-love lol.but 10 stars Keyshia Cole.
