It's that rare sort of just-about-perfect record that demands to be played over and over again. [#53, p.82]
  2. While my inclination is to recommend A Feather in the Engine to everyone without reservation, the disc is actually best suited to more advanced listeners -- that is, those of you for whom sing-along pop songs are not a prerequisite for enjoying an album.
  3. Though thoroughly enjoyable, the album isn't always riveting, either, and occasionally the attention does stray.
  4. A wondrous listen that tosses jangling pop and psychedelia with such ease that you'd be forgiven for thinking he could do this in his sleep.
