  1. It's powerful, clever, and you can dance to it.
  2. A well-rounded record that shows their maturation from an underground rap collective to a matured group who have found their voice in a crowded and commercial genre.

Solid album. Only complaint is that some songs sound extremely similar to one another. Nevertheless, one of the best in a while

This album is not only filled with solid raps, lyrically and stylistically, but is also a statement to the barriers that can be broken in hip-hop with a simple mix of keys, a bass and a trap set. The highlights are 5VES, A Tiger Dancing, and Heartsprings, which is the dopest love rap since the Pharcyde's Passing Me By. Shame on The Roots, this is the album they should have put out this year.
